Jaclyn Stapp, award-winning children’s author, national anti-bullying spokesperson for National Voices for Equality, Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE) spent the afternoon at the El Paso Children’s Hospital on Wednesday, August 8. Supported by husband, Grammy Award-winner Scott Stapp, lead singer of Creed and author of his tell-all memoir, Sinner’s Creed, the duo visited the patients for a reading and meet and greet. Scott and Jaclyn were escorted through the hospital to meet each child as Jaclyn shared her award-winning title, Wacky Jacky: The True Story of an Unlikely Beauty Queen. Jaclyn donated 75 copies of “Wacky Jacky” to share with all the patients at El Paso Children’s Hospital.

Jaclyn Stapp and husband, Grammy Award winner Scott Stapp, singer, songwriter and voice of Creed recently took a trip to Japan one year after the devastating earthquake and tsunami. They visited the children and families of tsunami-stricken areas of Japan’s northeastern coast, such as Sendai and Ishinomaki. She met with the children on U.S. military bases in Japan to support continued recovery and revitalization. Scott performed an acoustic show for the fans aboard the USS George Washington.
The overall experience was eye opening and they decided to document the trip. This video, produced and edited by Alexander Harris, is dedicated to the children, families and victims of the 2011 Japan tsunami as well as the thousands of US Troops stationed there. God Bless. We hope you enjoy.
